wault keeps your purchase receipts and warranties in one place, works out when the 3-year legal guarantee ends for each one, reminds you before it does, and writes the claim letter for the shop when something breaks.

When the washing machine stops, two questions
Where is the receipt? And is it still under guarantee?
Most homes answer them with a drawer of thermal receipts that fade to blank paper within a year or two — usually just before they are needed.
What it does
Photo or PDF of the receipt
Photograph the receipt at the till, or upload the PDF invoice the shop emailed. The warranty card and delivery note can go with it.
Product and store, written down
What you bought, the brand, model and serial number, where, for how much, and the invoice number — the details a claim asks for.
The expiry date, worked out for you
From the purchase or delivery date, the legal guarantee: 3 years for new and refurbished goods, 18 months for used goods if you agreed to it, 2 years for anything bought before 2022.
A reminder before it ends
An email 7, 14, 30, 60 or 90 days before the guarantee ends — and before the end of the first two years, when the rules about proving a fault change.
The claim letter, filled in
A letter to the shop in Portuguese (or English, to read first), with the product, the dates, the law and what you are asking for. Edit it, print it or send it by email.
On your phone and your computer
Add a receipt on the phone in the shop and it is there on the laptop at home. No app store needed.
How it works
- Add a purchase: what, where, when, and a photo or PDF of the receipt.
- wault shows how long the legal guarantee has left, and any extra warranty on top.
- Before a deadline, you get an email.
- If something breaks, open the purchase, describe the fault and print or send the claim letter.
